To date, more than 1,500 households from five villages in Gia Binh and Luong Tai Communes, Bac Ninh Province, whose land falls within the site clearance area for the Gia Binh International Airport project, have handed over land for construction. United in support of the greater benefits, residents are gradually returning to their daily routines while joining local authorities in ensuring progress on this nationally significant project.

Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc on May 20 inspected progress of the Gia Binh International Airport project and related infrastructure works, including the route linking the airport with Hanoi and the Ring Road No. 4 project in the Ha Noi Capital Region passing through Bac Ninh province.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on March 7 inspected the progress of the Gia Binh International Airport project in the northern province of Bac Ninh and a road connecting the airport with Ha Noi capital city.

The investment aims to develop the Gia Binh International Airport to international standards as a smart, green, and sustainable next-generation facility, meeting socio-economic development, supporting dual-use operations, ensuring security and defence, and hosting important diplomatic events, including the APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting 2027.

The 10th session is scheduled to conclude in the afternoon, with NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man delivering closing remarks once the agenda is completed.

The 16th Ha Noi People’s Council (2021–2026 term) on November 13 adopted a resolution approving the investment policy for the construction of a road connecting Gia Binh International Airport in the neighbouring Bac Ninh province with the capital.

The 15th National Assembly (NA) on November 14 are looking into the Government’s proposal and a verification report on the investment policy for the Gia Binh International Airport project, along with a video presentation introducing the project, as part of its ongoing 10th session.

The Government has issued Resolution No. 3/2025/NQ-CP detailing special mechanisms and policies for investment in the construction of Gia Binh International Airport in the northern province of Bac Ninh.
