Global gold prices on October 10 dropped sharply to 3,972 USD per ounce as investors took profits after prices surpassed the 4,000 USD mark. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars and SJC gold rings both followed the global downward trend, trading at 142.2 million VND per tael and 140.2 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices on September 3 continued their upward momentum to an all-time high of 3,547 USD/ounce amid central banks stepping up gold accumulations for their reserves. Domestically, SJC bar prices increased “vertically”, trading at a new record of VND 133.4 million/tael; SJC gold rings rose to VND 128 million/tael.

Global gold prices fell sharply on August 20 as investors rushed to take profits, trading at 3,324.3 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bar prices reversed its upward trend, dropping by 200,000 VND per tael and was listed at 124.8 million VND per tael. Meanwhile, SJC gold ring prices remained unchanged compared with the previous session, trading at 119.3 million VND per tael.

The global gold prices on August 9 continued its upward trend, trading at 3,397.6 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars and SJC gold rings remained at historic peak levels, listed respectively at 124.4 million VND per tael and 119.8 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices on July 19 continued to increase amid a weakening US dollar, trading at 3,350.6 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars stood at 121 million VND per tael, while SJC gold rings were listed at 116.7 million VND per tael.

The global gold price on July 17 slightly increased, trading at 3,328 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars remain at a high level of 120.6 million VND/tael, and SJC gold rings are listed at 116.7 million VND/tael.

SJC-branded gold bars and rings were traded at 121.5 million VND per tael and 117.5 million VND per tael on July 14.

Saigon Jewelry Company (SJC) gold bar went up 0.41% to 121.5 million VND per tael (4,652.59 USD), highest since May 10. SJC gold rings were traded at 117.5 million VND per tael.

On July 7, global gold prices fell to 3,309 USD per ounce, contrary to many investors' predictions that gold prices would continue to rise this week. Domestically, SJC gold bars dropped to 120.5 million VND per tael, while SJC round gold was traded at 116.4 million VND per tael.
