Global gold prices on July 22 continued to remain at a high level amid a weakening USD and escalating trade tensions, trading at 3,389 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bar and gold ring prices jumped sharply by 500,000 VND per tael, listed at 122 million VND/tael and 117.5 million VND/tael, respectively.

Global gold prices on July 19 continued to increase amid a weakening US dollar, trading at 3,350.6 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars stood at 121 million VND per tael, while SJC gold rings were listed at 116.7 million VND per tael.

SJC gold bar prices are currently listed at 119 - 121 million VND/tael (buying - selling), an increase of 200,000 VND/tael in both ends compared to July 10.

On July 7, global gold prices fell to 3,309 USD per ounce, contrary to many investors' predictions that gold prices would continue to rise this week. Domestically, SJC gold bars dropped to 120.5 million VND per tael, while SJC round gold was traded at 116.4 million VND per tael.

SJC-branded gold bars and rings were traded at 120.9 million VND per tael and 116.8 million VND per tael on July 5.

Saigon Jewelry Company gold bar went down 0.33% to 120.9 million VND per tael, on July 4. Gold ring was steady at 116.8 million VND per tael.

Viet Nam gold prices fell slightly despite global gain on June 19. Saigon Jewelry Company gold bar dropped 0.17% to VND119.4 million per tael. Gold ring declined by 0.09% to VND116 million per tael.

World gold price on June 11 increased to trade at 3,337 USD/ounce thanks to market confidence in this precious metal as investors and some central banks continue to buy. Domestically, SJC gold bar price increased to 118.8 million VND /tael; SJC gold ring price at VND114.5 million/tael.
