World gold prices on September 29 skyrocketed, surpassing the 3,800 USD/ounce mark in the context of the market being increasingly optimistic about the long-term upward trend of gold compared to currencies. Domestically, SJC gold bar prices set a new peak, trading at 136 million VND/tael, SJC gold rings increased to 132.4 million VND/tael.

World gold price on June 11 increased to trade at 3,337 USD/ounce thanks to market confidence in this precious metal as investors and some central banks continue to buy. Domestically, SJC gold bar price increased to 118.8 million VND /tael; SJC gold ring price at VND114.5 million/tael.

Saigon Jewelry Company gold bar inched up 0.17% to 118 million VND. Gold ring went up 0.18% to 114 million VND per tael. 

Ha Noi’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) in May rose slightly by 0.14% from the previous month, pushing the increase to 1.28% compared to last December and 3.6% year-on-year.
