Global gold prices continued to decline on September 9, trading at 4,394.7 USD per ounce amid a sharp rise in crude oil prices, high treasury yields and market concerns over the possibility of interest rate hikes. Domestically, gold prices fell by more than 1 million VND, with SJC gold bars quoted at 143.6-146.6 million VND per tael for buying and selling, respectively.

World gold prices fell sharply to 4,431.1 USD per ounce on September 5, amid a rebound in the US dollar and US Treasury bond yields. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars and gold rings fell sharply in line with world prices, quoted at 147.6 million VND per tael and 147.1 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices remained unchanged on August 26, trading at 4,635 USD/ounce. In the domestic market, gold bars and gold rings also held steady after a strong run of gains, with selling prices standing at 150.3 million VND/tael.

World gold prices continued to rise sharply on August 21, surpassing 4,500 USD per ounce. In Viet Nam, SJC gold prices rose strongly compared with yesterday, with buying and selling prices at 144-147 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices plunged on August 11 after reversing course, trading at 4,347.8 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars and gold rings fell by a total of 2 million VND per tael, with buying and selling prices standing at 140.5-143.5 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices continued to fall on July 29, dropping to 4,036.5 USD/ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bar prices also remained on a downward trend, with buying and selling prices standing at 137.5 million VND/tael and 141.5 million VND/tael, respectively.

Global gold prices continued their strong upward trend on July 22, rising to 4,119.1 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bar prices also increased, with buying and selling prices quoted at 142 million VND and 146 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices rebounded on June 5, trading at 4,445.8 USD per ounce, as the US dollar and US Treasury yields weakened and oil prices fell sharply, easing inflation concerns. In the domestic market, gold prices across major brands declined for a fifth consecutive trading session, with buying and selling prices ranging between 151.4 million VND and 154.4 million VND per tael, narrowing the gap between domestic and international gold prices.

Global gold prices continued their upward momentum on May 30, trading at 4,538.3 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bullion prices increased by a further 500,000 VND per tael, with buying and selling prices quoted at 156 million VND and 159 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices continued to plunge on May 28, trading at 4,380.9 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bar prices fell sharply in line with the global market, being listed at 157.5 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices on May 25 surged to 4,569.6 USD per ounce as geopolitical tensions in the Middle East eased. In the domestic market, gold prices across major brands also rose in line with global trends. SJC gold bars were traded at 159 million VND per tael for buying and 162 million VND per tael for selling.

Global gold prices continued to decline on May 18, trading at 4,537.2 USD/ounce. In the domestic market, gold prices of most brands remained unchanged, except for Manh Hai Gold, which fell by 1 million VND/tael.

World gold prices continued to fall on May 16 amid rising inflationary pressure and stronger US Treasury yields, trading at 4,538.2 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars and SJC gold rings both plunged sharply, listed respectively at 163.5 million VND/tael and 163.3 million VND/tael.

Global gold prices on May 8 continued to rise, trading at 4,718.3 USD per ounce as crude oil prices declined, the US dollar weakened and Treasury bond yields fell. Domestically, SJC gold prices were sold at 167.5 million VNDper tael, unchanged compared with yesterday’s closing session.

Global gold prices on May 5 were trading at 4,534.5 USD per ounce amid rising tensions between the US and Iran, fuelling concerns over escalating inflation. Domestically, SJC gold bars and gold rings both recorded sharp declines, with prices listed at 165 million VND per tael and 164.5 million VND per tael, respectively.
