The Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a scientific conference themed "Diplomacy in the Ho Chi Minh Era: 80 Years of devoted service to the nation" in Ha Noi on July 28. This event is among the key activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of the founding of Viet Nam’s diplomatic service (1945–2025).

Party, State leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh, fallen soldiers

A delegation of the Party Central Committee, the State President, the National Assembly, the Government, and the Viet Nam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee laid wreaths at the monument to war heroes and martyrs on Bac Son street and paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Ha Noi on July 24 on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947–2025).

With an expansive metro network plan and special policy mechanisms, Ho Chi Minh City is set to lay the foundation for Viet Nam’s metro industry.

Regional metro network planned for Ho Chi Minh City
