Viet Nam’s Engineering Unit Rotation 4, which is on duty at the United Nations Interim Security Force for Abyei in Africa, solemnly conducted a ceremony on September 2 (local time) to mark the 81st National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam.
As the whole country looks towards National Day on September 2, in border communes of Son La Province, border guard officers and soldiers are still strictly maintaining duty schedules, strengthening patrols and control, proactively grasping the situation, and standing ready to handle emerging incidents, helping people enjoy a safe and peaceful holiday.
These days, across the country, flags and flowers are adorning streets, as people eagerly celebrate the 81st anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day on September 2. In many provinces and cities, a wide range of distinctive cultural, artistic and experiential activities are being held, creating a joyful atmosphere and contributing to bringing traditional cultural values closer to residents and visitors.
General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and State President To Lam and Prime Minister Le Minh Hung on June 12 sent congratulatory messages to Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr on the occasion of the 128th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence of the Republic of the Philippines (June 12, 1898 – 2026).
On the occasion of the Independence Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina, State President Luong Cuong sent a congratulatory message to Chairman of the Presidency Željko Komšić; and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh extended congratulations to his counterpart Nermin Nikšić.

A wide variety of activities themed “Happy Independence Day” will be held at the Viet Nam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism in Doai Phuong Commune in Ha Noi from August 30 to September 2.
