At the invitation of the Governor-General of Australia, Sam Mostyn, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and President of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, To Lam, undertook a state visit to Australia, accompanied by a high-level Vietnamese delegation.
