Fruit and vegetable exports target 10 billion USD

Viet Nam’s fruit and vegetable exports are gaining momentum, with eight-month turnover exceeding 5.8 billion USD, bringing the sector closer to its 10 billion USD target for 2026. To accelerate growth in the final months of the year, alongside ensuring supply, quality and market access, meeting export requirements and procedures will play a decisive role.

Adopting traceability codes to enhance market transparency is not a new practice, particularly in developed countries. In Viet Nam, however, with millions of businesses and small-scale production facilities, tracing the origin of each product remains a major challenge.
