Viet Nam charts new course for consular, citizen protection affairs

On the occasion of the diplomatic sector's 80th anniversary (August 28, 1945–2025), Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang shared key milestones and contributions of consular and citizen protection affairs to Viet Nam’s diplomacy, as well as strategic directions for elevating these efforts in the new development phase.

Viet Nam Summer Camp 2025 opens in Dak Lak

Viet Nam steps up citizen protection amid Israel – Iran conflict

Amid the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) of Viet Nam has swiftly coordinated with the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of National Defence, and Vietnamese diplomatic agencies in the region to closely monitor developments, evaluate the situation, safeguard the safety of citizens and diplomatic headquarters, and devise plans for potential evacuations from conflict-affected areas.

Vietnam condemns dangerous escalations in Middle East
