Viet Nam attaches importance to and wishes to strengthen its traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Estonia, an important partner in the Nordic and Baltic region, Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Hoai Trung told his Estonian counterpart, Margus Tsahkna, during talks in Ha Noi on April 23.

Italy is one of Viet Nam’s leading partners in the European Union (EU), and Viet Nam wishes to further strengthen the Viet Nam–Italy Strategic Partnership across all channels, including Party-to-Party ties, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man told Maurizio Acerbo, General Secretary of the Communist Refoundation Party (PRC) of Italy, at their meeting on April 14.

The two sides agreed to urge agencies, ministries, and businesses from both countries to step up collaboration, facilitate market access for each other’s key goods, diversify supply chains, and work toward multiplying bilateral trade in the coming years.

Party General Secretary To Lam hosted a reception for Indian Ambassador to Viet Nam Sandeep Arya on August 6 in Ha Noi, during which the Party chief called for stronger cooperation between the two countries in science-technology, innovation, culture, education, religion, and tourism.

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreaign Affairs Ngo Le Van and Marek Estok, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia, who is on a working visit to Viet Nam, co-chaired the Viet Nam - Slovalia political consultation in Ha Noi on July 9.
