The Standing Boards of the National Assembly (NA)'s and Government’s Party Committees convened a meeting in Ha Noi on July 24 to finalise preparations for the 16th NA’s first extraordinary session.

Party General Secretary and State President To Lam presented the Politburo’s decisions assigning the National Assembly (NA) Party Committee and personnel affairs at a conference in Ha Noi on April 10.

Party General Secretary To Lam asked the National Assembly Party Committee to strengthen its legislative and constitutional role and see lawmaking work “a breakthrough of breakthroughs” to remove bottlenecks for development.
