Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on March 5 called for strongest possible efforts to accelerate transport infrastructure development, stressing its crucial role in helping Viet Nam achieve double-digit economic growth in 2026.

Decree 242/2025/ND-CP on the management and use of official development assistance (ODA) and foreign preferential loans has officially taken effect since September 10, 2025, introducing multiple solutions to enhance proactiveness and flexibility in accessing, and effectively utilising international capital sources.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who heads the State steering committee for national key projects in the transport sector, chaired the committee’s 21st meeting on November 8, during which he noted that experience from many countries around the world shows rapid development requires investment in strategic infrastructure.
