State President Luong Cuong on September 1 stressed that the Party, State, and people of Viet Nam always treasure and remember the solidarity and wholehearted support that Cuba gave Viet Nam during its past struggle for national liberation and reunification, as well as in the ongoing process of national construction and defence.

Viet Nam has always been a symbol of revolutionary spirit and national liberation, inspiring the Palestinian people’s struggle, Issam Makhoul, Politburo member of the Communist Party of Israel (CPI) and Head of the Democratic Front for Peace and Equality (Hadash), has stated.
