A new national target programme, to be consolidated from four existing programmes and focusing on seven key groups of tasks, while eliminating intermediary layers, is what the National Assembly expects as it considers and votes to approve the issue at the first extraordinary session of the 16th National Assembly.

PM Le Minh Hung said the fulfilment of the capital disbursement target should become a key criterion in evaluating the performance of ministries, sectors and local authorities.
