Viet Nam recorded nearly 149,700 newly established enterprises in the first nine months of 2026, up 3.2% year-on-year, with total registered capital rising 32.7% to over 1.88 quadrillion VND (71.6 billion USD), according to the National Statistics Office under the Ministry of Finance.

Through proactive and decisive action, Ha Noi has achieved a range of significant results in 2025, particularly breakthroughs in institutional reform and infrastructure development. These form an important foundation for the Capital to successfully accomplish its targets in 2026 and the years ahead.

Nearly 24,200 new businesses were established nationwide in January, surging 40.9% from December and 126.8% year on year, according to the National Statistics Office under the Ministry of Finance.

In the first half of 2025, more than 91,000 new businesses were established nationwide, reflecting a strong wave of entrepreneurship.
