A high-level delegation of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) led by Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member and Standing Member of the CPV Central Committee’s Secretariat, visited a meet-the-people session (MPS) branch of the People’s Action Party (PAP) of Singapore on the evening of August 24.

Politburo member and permanent member of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu held a meeting with Speaker of the Parliament of Singapore Seah Kian Peng on August 24 as part of his official visit to Singapore and co-chairing of the first Viet Nam-Singapore Strategic Dialogue between the CPV and the People’s Action Party (PAP) of Singapore.
Member of the Political Bureau and Permanent Member of the Secretariat of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) Central Committee Tran Cam Tu, along with a high-ranking CPV delegation, left Ha Noi on August 24 morning for a two-day official visit to Singapore where he will co-chair the first Viet Nam-Singapore Strategic Dialogue between the CPV and People’s Action Party (PAP) of Singapore.
The visit will be made at the invitation of the PAP Central Executive Committee, according to the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Communist Party and State of Viet Nam always value cooperative ties with Singapore and the People’s Action Party (PAP), wishing to further nurture and deepen the newly established Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in a substantive and effective way for mutual benefits, said Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chief of its Office Pham Gia Tuc.
General Secretary To Lam highly valued the Viet Nam – Singapore relationship over the past more than 50 years, especially since the two countries upgraded ties to a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2025.
