Viet Nam and Panama agreed to strengthen political and economic cooperation as well as coordination at multilateral forums during the second political consultation between their foreign ministries in Ha Noi on July 28, which was co-chaired by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dang Hoang Giang and his Panamanian counterpart Carlos Arturo Hoyos.

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Le Thi Thu Hang and her Dutch counterpart Marcel de Vink co-chaired the second deputy foreign ministerial-level political consultation between the two countries in Ha Noi on June 1.

Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Manh Cuong and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore Albert Chua co-chaired the 17th Viet Nam–Singapore Political Consultation in Ha Noi on August 26.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dang Hoang Giang and his Uruguayan counterpart Valeria Csusaki Cabrera co-chaired the 5th political consultation between the two ministries on August 19, during which they discussed measures for further strengthening the countries' relations.

The two sides agreed to closely coordinate in the implementation of measures for further strengthening bilateral ties, including promoting all-level mutual visits, realising high-level agreements, and enhancing the effectiveness of cooperation mechanisms between the countries.

Deputy Minister of the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Manh Cuong and Secretary of State of the Cambodian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ung Rachana co-chaired the ninth Political Consultation in Ha Noi on July 17.

Deputy Foreign Minister Le Thi Thu Hang and her Dutch counterpart Marcel De Vink co-chaired the first deputy ministerial-level political consultation between the two countries in The Hague, the Netherlands on July 11.

Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Foreaign Affairs Ngo Le Van and Marek Estok, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia, who is on a working visit to Viet Nam, co-chaired the Viet Nam - Slovalia political consultation in Ha Noi on July 9.

Nguyen Manh Cuong, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, and his Indian counterpart Periasamy Kumaran co-chaired the 13th Political Consultation and the 10th Strategic Dialogue between the two countries in New Delhi on June 25, during which they proposed many measures to further foster bilateral relations.
