With less than one day remaining before voters nationwide cast their ballots to elect deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, the People’s Public Security force has deployed measures to ensure a secure and safe environment across the country, maintaining the highest level of readiness for the election on March 15.

Party General Secretary To Lam chaired the Politburo's meeting with the Standing Board of the Central Public Security Party Committee on September 8 to review and provide feedback on the draft documents and personnel plan for the committee's 8th Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure.

Over the past 80 years, the People’s Public Security force has made significant contributions to maintaining political stability, building an increasingly civilised, safe, and healthy society, and ensuring a peaceful, happy, and prosperous life for the people, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said while addressing the 9th “For National Security” Emulation Congress hosted by the Ministry of Public Security in Ha Noi on August 6.

An art programme entitled “75 years of Public Security’s engravement of Uncle Ho’s teaching” was held in Hanoi on March 4 as part of activities to celebrate the 75th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s six teachings for the Public Security (March 11).
