Formerly known as Quang Binh, the province now named Quang Tri is not only famous as the “kingdom of caves” and a land of turquoise seas and white sand, but also home to numerous pristine and refreshingly cool streams, as well as magnificent waterfalls. These captivating destinations are attracting increasing numbers of visitors to Quang Binh this summer.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, in collaboration with the Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee, hosted a ceremony at Ho Chi Minh Square in Dong Hoi City on 6 June to mark the launch of Viet Nam Sea and Islands Week. 

On June 5, a delegation of the central coastal province of Quang Binh has participated in a seminar entitled “Connecting Vietnamese Localities with the Vietnamese Community in the Czech Republic” and held a working session with the Embassy of Viet Nam in the Czech Republic, said the provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

A ceremony was held in Le Thuy district of the central province of Quang Binh on January 12 to inaugurate the Son Thuy kindergarten and the medical station of Hoa Thuy commune, which were built at a cost of 700,000 USD in total provided by the US.

Quang Binh Province had just decided to allow Nhat Le Travel Co., Ltd. to test the tourism product "Boat tours on Nhat Le River combined with visiting historical and scenic sites".
