Retail prices of petrol and diesel prices (excluding mazut oil) in Viet Nam were reduced from 3pm on August 13, according to a joint decision by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance.

The policy aims to give businesses greater pricing flexibility while allowing regulators to focus on more widely consumed fuels such as petrol and diesel.

Passing through three-quarters of the year 2022, the country’s socio-economic picture has clearly expressed the strong recovery and development in most industries and fields, with many targets reaching and exceeding the plan.
