Global gold prices climbed sharply on August 6, reaching their highest level in a month at 4,276.5 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars also posted strong gains, with buying and selling prices quoted at 139.7 million VND and 142.7 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices fell sharply on July 17, dropping below the 4,000 USD per ounce mark. In the domestic market, SJC gold bar prices declined by 1.6 million VND per tael, with buying and selling prices quoted at 143.6 million VND and 146.6 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices fell sharply on July 7, trading at 4,132.83 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, SJC gold bars and SJC gold rings both declined by nearly 500,000 VND per tael, and were quoted at 150 million VND per tael and 149.7 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices rebounded sharply on July 2, trading at 4,067.1 USD per ounce. In the domestic market, both SJC gold bars and SJC gold rings rose simultaneously by 2 million VND per tael, reaching 148.4 million VND per tael and 148.3 million VND per tael, respectively.

World gold prices on May 13 reversed course and declined, trading at 4,688.2 USD per ounce. Domestically, gold prices also fell in line with global prices, with SJC gold bars decreasing by 500,000 VND to 165 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices on April 28 reversed sharply downward, trading at 4,629.8 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bar and gold ring prices declined in line with global prices, listed at 167.5 million VND per tael and 167 million VND per tael, respectively.

Global gold prices on April 22 fell to around 4,760.9 USD per ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bar prices declined for the third consecutive session, with selling prices at 170 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices on April 18 rebounded sharply, trading at 4,834 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars and gold rings simultaneously reversed course, rising by 1 million VND per tael, and were listed at 172 million VND/tael and 171.5 million VND/tael, respectively.

Global gold prices on April 10 fluctuated within a narrow range, slipping slightly to 4,749 USD per ounce. Meanwhile, domestic gold prices rebounded following a sharp decline in the previous session, with SJC gold bars sold at 172.7 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices on April 3 fell to USD 4,676.1 per ounce but continued their weekly upward trend, recording a 3% increase and remaining above the USD 4,600 per ounce mark. Meanwhile, domestic gold prices rose across the board, with the selling price reaching VND 174.5 million per tael.

World gold prices on March 19 continued to fall sharply, trading at 4,710.5 USD/ounce. Domestically, SJC gold bars and gold rings also dropped significantly in line with global prices, listed at 172.5 million VND/tael and 175.5 million VND/tael respectively.

On March 11, world gold prices rises slightly, trading at 5,187.4 USD per ounce. Domestically, gold prices are adjusted upward by major enterprises compared with yesterday’s closing level, pushing the price of SJC gold bars close to 187.2 million VND per tael.

World gold prices on February 27 moved sideways, trading at 5,178.4 USD per ounce as investors continued to take profits after prices had risen above 5,200 USD per ounce. Domestically, gold prices of many brands declined after the God of Wealth Day. SJC gold bars and gold rings of many brands are being sold at 184 million VND per tael.

Global gold prices on February 2 continued their steep downward trend, trading around 4,278.5 USD per ounce. Domestically, prices of SJC gold bars and SJC gold rings also continued to “plunge” in line with global developments, trading at 163 million VND per tael and 166 million VND per tael, respectively.

On 28 January, both domestic and global gold prices surged sharply, surpassing all previously recorded records. During the morning session, the price of SJC gold bars in Vietnam rose by 4.1 million VND per tael and continued to increase by a further 2.8 million VND in the afternoon, pushing prices up to 184.2 million VND per tael — the highest level ever recorded.

Global gold prices on January 16 slipped below 4,608 USD per ounce as strong inflows into equities cooled demand for gold. In Viet Nam, prices were temporarily steady as SJC bullion was traded at 162.8 million VND per tael, while SJC ring gold remained unchanged at 159.7 million VND per tael.
