The comprehensive strategic partnership between Viet Nam and the Russian Federation has continued to record positive developments in recent times. With a foundation of ever-strengthening political trust, the two countries are not only consolidating traditional areas of cooperation but also seeking new momentum and expanding the space for cooperation in line with the development requirements of each country.

The Viet Nam-Russia has a history spanning more than 75 years since the two countries officially established diplomatic relations in 1950. The relationship has been nurtured and has continued to achieve significant accomplishments, underpinned by the bonds of comradeship, mutual sharing, and the selfless and sincere support between the peoples of the two countries in the past.
