France will take on Argentina in the World Cup final after beating Morocco 2-0 in the  Wednesday’s semi-final to stay on course for a successful title defence. 

Lionel Messi’s penalty and a double from Julian Alvarez helped Argentina win a 3-0 victory over Croatia and enter the final. The opponent of Messi and his teammates will be determined after the next semi-final between France and Morocco.
