A “Smart police station” kiosk was officially launched for pilot operation in the capital city of Ha Noi on August 15 morning.

Thailand is currently Viet Nam's largest trading partner within ASEAN, while Viet Nam ranks as Thailand's sixth-largest trading partner globally. Bilateral trade reached 22.07 billion USD in 2025, with both sides aiming to increase the figure to 25 billion USD in the coming years. Thailand also has 805 valid investment projects in Viet Nam with a combined registered capital of 15.4 billion USD.

Leaders across ASEAN member states gathered in Ha Noi on June 8 for the ASEAN Cities Leader Conference 2026 held under the theme 'Driving the future through smart, sustainable and connected cities” as part of the 3rd ASEAN Future Forum hosted by Viet Nam.
