Torrential rains over recent days have left Lang Son Province struggling with severe floods and landslides. Storms and heavy rain have caused flooding and isolated many areas and mountain villages in the province. Amid the harsh natural disaster, the military-civilian bond shone brightly, alongside the tireless efforts of local authorities and organisations to help people weather the crisis.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has called the rebuilding and repairing of houses destroyed or severely damaged by recent storms and floods a mandate from the heart, urging all authorities to see it not as a normal political mission but as a moral commitment to the people.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the Deputy Prime Ministers, and staffs of the Government Office and the Government Party Committee’s assistant agencies each donated at least one day’s salary to help residents in areas devastated by recent storms and floods, at a fundraising ceremony hosted by the agencies in Ha Noi on October 3.
