General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party and President of Laos Thongloun Sisoulith and his spouse Naly Sisoulith arrived in Ha Noi on January 26 morning, beginning a two-day state visit to Viet Nam at the invitation of General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam To Lam and his spouse.

Lao Ambassador to Viet Nam Khamphao Ernthavanh has stressed that bilateral cooperation in education and training and people-to-people exchanges from 2026 onwards will continue to serve as a strategic bridge, directly contributing to high-quality human resources development and sustainable growth in each country, while helping to consolidate the solid social foundation of bilateral ties.
