Bulgaria's National Assembly on Friday decided to hold the country's regular presidential election on Oct. 25. The Bulgarian president is elected directly by the voters for a five-year term. A candidate is elected by receiving more than half of the valid votes, provided that more than half of all eligible voters have cast their ballots.
