The Office of the Party Central Committee held a gathering to extend Tet greetings to its officials, civil servants and employees on the morning of February 23 in the presence of Party General Secretary To Lam and Permanent Member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on February 11 visited former leaders of the Party and State, and offered incense in tribute to late leaders in Ho Chi Minh City on the occasion of the Lunar New Year (Tet) festival.

On February 5, a delegation from the National Assembly (NA)'s Council for Ethnic Affairs and the Ministry of Ethnic and Religious Affairs, led by Vu Hong Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee and NA Vice Chairman, visited and extended greetings to the officers and soldiers of Ia O Border Post in Ia O Commune, Gia Lai Province, on the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year (Tet) 2026.

With the wish to bring traditional Tet (Lunar New Year festival) back as a living cultural space, at “Vietnamese Tet - Tet in the Streets”, tourists not only experience but also learn about and feel the depth of Vietnamese Tet culture through rituals, customs, and traditional activities associated with the system of historical relics, temples, ancient houses, and craft streets of Ha Noi’s Old Quarter.

National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man on January 27 offered incense at a memorial site dedicated to late Chairman of the NA Standing Committee Bui Bang Doan in Ha Noi’s Ung Thien commune, and paid pre-Tet visits to the families of late Party General Secretary Truong Chinh and late NA Chairman Le Quang Dao, and former Party General Secretary Nong Duc Manh and former NA Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, and the family of late Minister of Public Security Le Minh Huong.
