Lao Cai tourism promises to make breakthroughs

Lao Cai Province’s tourism industry grew impressively in the first six months of 2025, attracting more than 8.7 million visitors, reaching more than 22 trillion VND in revenue. From July 1, after the merger, new Lao Cai Province is expected to continue to become the tourism centre of the Northwest region, aiming to welcome 16.5 million visitors by 2030.
