Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has issued an official dispatch, urging ministries, sectors, and local authorities to ramp up recovery efforts following Typhoon Bualoi, which battered Viet Nam’s central region and triggered torrential rain and widespread flooding.

Typhoon Bualoi (Storm No.10) made landfall over central Viet Nam early September 29, unleashing gale-force winds and torrential downpours across a wide area.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed an official dispatch on September 28, calling for all-out efforts to deal with the devastation caused by Typhoon Bualoi as well as address subsequent flooding.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha chaired a teleconference in the central province of Thanh Hoa on September 28 to direct measures in response to Typhoon Bualoi, the 10th tropical storm entering the East Sea this year.
