Viet Nam to introduce two initiatives at UNHRC's 61st session

Ambassador Mai Phan Dung, Permanent Representative of Vietnam to the United Nations, the World Trade Organisation, and other international organisations in Geneva, is leading a delegation to attend the 61st session of the UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC) where they will engage proactively in consultations on 36 draft resolutions and introduce two initiatives.

Vietnam continues to ensure all human rights for everyone: ambassador

Viet Nam’s message on human rights is consistent: human rights are universal, but their implementation must be practical and closely linked to people’s daily lives, such as the rights to healthcare, education and sustainable employment, said Ambassador Mai Phan Dung, Permanent Representative of Viet Nam to the UN, the WTO, and other international organisations in Geneva.
