Leaders of Viet Nam on September 1 sent congratulatory messages to their Uzbekistani counterparts on the country’s 35th Independence Day (September 1, 1991 – 2026).
Viet Nam always values and seeks to further strengthen its traditional friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation with Uzbekistan, said Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha at an online meeting with his Uzbekistani counterpart Jamshid Khodjaev on February 9.
Through the Intergovernmental Committee mechanism, Viet Nam and Uzbekistan will continue to further deepen bilateral cooperation in all fields, particularly in economic-trade and scientific-technological collaboration, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang has said.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man hosted a reception in Ha Noi on October 27 for Speaker of the Legislative Chamber (lower house) of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan Nuriddin Ismoilov, who is in Viet Nam to attend the signing ceremony of the UN Convention against Cybercrime (known as the Ha Noi Convention).

The Uzbek lower house leader was in his trip to Viet Nam for attendance at the Signing Ceremony of the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime (Ha Noi Convention).
