The year 2023 marks a special milestone in Vietnam-Argentina relations, as the two countries will celebrate the 50th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties (October 25, 1973-2023) and the 13th anniversary of comprehensive partnership (2010-2023). Vietnam and Argentina are making efforts to deepen their cooperation in many fields, as well as continuing to consolidate each other's key partner roles, in the two regions of Southeast Asia and Latin America.
The first session of the 16th National Assembly (NA), which is set to officially convene early this week, will be the first sitting following the success of the second Plenum of the 14th Party Central Committee and the election of deputies to the 16th NA and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term.
