A delegation from the Viet Nam Ministry of National Defence, led by Deputy Chief of the General Department of Defence Industry Maj. Gen Phan Thi Hoai Van recently paid a courtesy call to Egyptian Minister of State for Military Production Mohamed Salah El-Din Mostafa in Cairo.

Vietnamese State President Luong Cuong met with President of the Egyptian Senate Abdel-Wahab Abdel-Razeq in Cairo on August 6, as part of his state visit to the African country.

President Cuong expressed his deep admiration for the great contributions of late President Gamal Abdel Nasser to the history of Egypt, as well as the special affection he had for late President Ho Chi Minh and the people of Viet Nam.
