The two ministers highlighted the Border Defence Friendship Exchange as a meaningful cooperation mechanism that has received strong support from senior leaders, ministries, local authorities and people in both countries.

The State Audit Office of Viet Nam (SAV) and the State Audit Organisation of Laos (SAO) have agreed to deepen cooperation in digital transformation, capacity building and professional exchanges during a working visit to Laos by Vietnamese Auditor General Nguyen Huu Nghia on June 25–26.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has wrapped up his official two-day visit to Laos, during which he co-chaired the 45th meeting of the Vietnam-Laos Inter-Governmental Committee, at the invitation of Lao PM Sonexay Siphandone.
