The vice president visited and presented gifts to Vietnamese heroic mother Le Thi Mot (whose husband and son are both martyrs) in Nam Tan Village, Gio Son Commune, Gio Linh District; and the family of Nguyen Long Khiem (the son of a martyr) in Quarter 3, Ward 1, Dong Ha City.
She also presented 60 gifts to policy families, Vietnamese heroic mothers, families with contributions to the revolution, and poor households in Trieu Phong District.
During the visits, the VP extended her sincere greetings to the national contributors, while also affirming that the Party and State always keep in mind the credit of predecessors and those who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence and freedom and for the people’s happiness.
She wished the hosts good health and happiness, and shared her hope that they would continuing establishing themselves as examples for their descendants to follow.
