Vietnam-Algeria traditional friendship key to multifaceted cooperation: Algerian President

The Vietnam-Algeria traditional friendship serves as an important foundation for the promotion of their multifaceted cooperation for the mutual benefits of their peoples, Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune has said.

Receiving credentials of Ambassador Tran Quoc Khanh on June 6, the leader lauded Vietnam’s national development achievements as well as its role and image in the region and the world.

He pledged the best conditions possible for the Vietnamese diplomat to fulfill his mission, contributing to the growth of the countries’ ties.

Khanh, for his part, affirmed the determination of the Vietnamese State and people in consolidating and deepening the traditional relations and cooperation with Algeria.

He vowed to spare no efforts in lifting the relationship to new heights, particularly regarding the sides' exchanges of high-level delegations and collaboration in trade, agro-fishery, culture-education, and defence.
