Vietnam, Germany enhance labour co-operation

Nhan Dan Online – An agreement on bilateral co-operation in labour and social affairs was inked between Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA) of Vietnam and Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs (MLSA) of Germany in Hanoi on April 2.

According to Deputy Minister of MOLISA Nguyen Thanh Hoa, along with long-term co-operation in vocational training and social welfare, the two sides hope to promote further co-operation in building laws and policies and labour market information in the future.

After an interrupted period, both sides will resume and renew their co-operation. Vietnamese labour, particularly the young, desires to work in Germany. When returning to the country, these experienced people will be an important human resource for domestic labour market, said Deputy Minister Hoa.

State Secretary of MLSA Ralf Brauksiepe said that his country also has policies to attract and take advantages of Vietnamese skilled workers.
