The road runs through Hoang Mai and Thanh Tri districts, beginning at Phap Van – Cau Gie Expressway (km184+100) and ending at Belt Road No.3 (km169+100).

The road is 60m wide with eight lanes and about 3.2 trillion VND (135.3 million USD) invested from the city budget.

According to the Director of Hanoi Transport Construction Investment Project Management Unit Nguyen Chi Cuong, the road is of significant importance, helping to relieve congestion at the intersection at the beginning of the Phap Van-Cau Gie Expressway, while completing the transport system, to promote socio-economic development in the south and southeast of Hanoi.

The 90-km Phap Van-Cau Gie Expressway, running from Hanoi to Ninh Binh, is also an arterial route to connect Hanoi with southern provinces, with heavy vehicle traffic of about 80,000 vehicles per day.

The construction of the 3.4km road is scheduled to be completed in 2025.
