100 booths showcase OCOP and agricultural products ahead of New Year

As many as 100 booths are displaying nearly 1,000 types of OCOP products, agricultural products, regional specialties, and products of traditional craft villages at Cau Giay Park in Hanoi on the occasion the upcoming New Year and Lunar New Year (Tet).

The event is being held by the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA), attracting the participation of hundreds of businesses, cooperatives, and establishments from nearly 40 provinces and cities across the country.

A representative from the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) said that the programme aims to stimulate domestic consumption demand, increase total retail sales, and stabilise the market ahead of the upcoming New Year.

The event is also expected to enhance consumers’ trust in the quality and brands of Vietnamese products, contributing to effectively implementing the campaign of ‘Vietnamese people priorities using Vietnamese goods’.

In addition to the display of agricultural products, the HPA also held activities to connect enterprises and promote trade and process agricultural products during the event, which is taking place from December 29 to 31.

A similar event was also launched by the HPA and the People’s Committee of Thanh Oai District at Thanh Oai District Park on December 28.
