Hosted by the Viet Nam High-Quality Goods Business Association and the Business Studies & Assistance (BSA) Centre, the competition attracted 220 projects by teams from across the country.

The organisers selected 36 projects to enter the final round, which were divided into two categories. Category A was for new startup projects that had a sample product or had been on the market for less than one year; and category B was for organisations and enterprises operating for no more than five years, with commercialised products or services.

The Green Vines Project in Da Lat, which turns raw coconut fibre and agricultural by-products into coconut fibre pellets for plant seedlings and cultivation substrate, won the first prize in Category A.

Two second prizes in category A were awarded to the projects COCOSOIL – Good Soil from Green Coconut Shells and NETGINS – Warming Ginger – A Green Livelihood.

In Category B, the Bittersweet Chocolatier – Phu Quoc Chocolate project received first prize. Two second prizes were awarded to a project on preserving and developing traditional handicraft villages combined with community tourism, and one on application of vegetarian floss in vegetarian food production.

Sub-prizes were also awarded at the ceremony for the “Green Economic Initiative”; “New Agricultural Horizon”; and Standard Consultation Award, among others.

The total prize value of the 2025 Green Startup Project Competition amounted to approximately 1 billion VND, including cash prizes and packages of media support, training, market connection, study tours, and training courses.
