The exhibitions are showcasing 600 pavilions on 14,000 m2, including five national pavilions belonging to Vietnam, Poland, China, the Republic of Korea (RoK), and Taiwan (China).
The event is expected to welcome 22,000 visitors until its conclusion on August 11.
The Vietnamese pavilions gather many well-known brands of beverage including Sabeco, Habeco, Dr.Thanh, Sagoto, Heineken and Coca-Cola.
The organising board will also hold a series of seminars, and business and customer meetings to boost trade promotion and connectivity between enterprises.
Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, Pham Thanh Kien, said that the active participation of foreign companies at the exhibitions will open up more investment and business opportunities at industrial and processing parks in Vietnam, contributing to creating jobs, and promoting technology transfer and competitiveness among enterprises.
On the same day, the 9th Vietnam International Advertising Equipment and Technology Exhibition (VietAd) was launched at the Phu Tho Indoor Sports Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.
The annual event attracted the participation of nearly 150 foreign and domestic companies which are showcasing printing machineries, led technology, advertising products and services, and advertising and display equipment.
The event will run until August 11 and is expected to receive 10,000 visitors.
