Themed ‘For the sustainable development of cooperatives’, the first-ever action month features more than 20 events and activities across the country.
The action month aims to raise pride and responsibility, and encourage innovation and creativity among members of the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance system and its staff.
It also provides an opportunity to honour organisations and individuals with significant achievements and contributions to the development of the Vietnamese collective economy, while increasing dialogues and connections among collective economic organisations.
During the launch ceremony, 61 collectives were awarded for their contributions to the development of Vietnam’s cooperative economic sector in 2023.
A festival displaying 150 products by 40 cooperatives in Ninh Binh Province kicked off on the same day in response to the action month.
