Arts programme honours enterprises having made great contributions to social activities

NDO—An arts exchange programme was held by the Vietnam Journalists’ Association (VJA), in collaboration with the newspaper Nhan Dan (“The People”), at the Hanoi Opera House on October 23 to honour enterprises and entrepreneurs who had accompanied press agencies in social activities in 2016.

The event was attended by member of the Party Central Committee, Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan and VJA Chairman Thuan Huu, along with the representatives of ministries, branches and enterprises.

The programme aims to honour enterprises and entrepreneurs for their great contributions to social and charity activities. The honourees were voted for by central and local press agencies around the country.

The event offered an opportunity for press workers and entrepreneurs to meet, exchange and discuss measures to enhance the collaboration between enterprises and press agencies to contribute to the country’s development.

At the programme, delegates shared stories from their lives and work, as well as notable memories from their time participating in social and charity activities.

The programme also featured numerous arts performances praising the Party, the country and the Vietnamese business community.

At the programme, 31 outstanding enterprises and six entrepreneurs received campaign medals from the VJA for their contributions to the community’s development.
