Vietnam Int’l Retail and Franchise Exhibition kicks off

The 11th Vietnam Int’l Retail and Franchise Exhibition (VIETRF 2019) kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City, on October 31.

The expo brings together 180 franchising brands and 100 store technology companies from many countries and territories such as the Republic of Korea, Singapore, Taiwan (China), China, Indonesia and the Philippines.

The event showcases products, services and concepts involved such as retail tech-equipment like POS, barcode system, gate entry solution, sales order processing, radio-frequency identification system, smart card technology, retail software application, self-service system, robotic kiosk, and security system and retail store furnishing like display racks, cooling and heating cabinets, carts, packing machines, and others. Retail services and internet retailing solutions will also be on display.

Many franchise brands in various fields such as food and beverages, beauty and healthcare, fashion, retail and wholesale, education, training and consultation services, retail start-ups, and other specialised retail models like automotive and motorcycle repair shops and laundry stores also participated to look for potential franchisees.

Many seminars and conferences will be held during the show, with speakers being experts in retail and franchising.

On the same day, the fourth Coffee, Tea & Bakery Expo 2019 also opened at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre.

This is an exhibition showcasing technology, products and services in the coffee industry and premium tea, including raw materials, machinery, tools and other related products from famous domestic and international brands.

It is the fourth time it’s held in Vietnam, with 205 booths, and the participation of 80 brands from eight countries.

In particular, the exhibition is expected to be the destination where business owners, coffee and pastry shop owners can find high quality items, meet and exchange, as well as expand cooperation with potential domestic and international partners.

The exhibitions run until November 2.
