Forum promotes business cooperation between Vietnam’s Vinh Phuc Province and Germany

The Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee in coordination with the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam) hosted a virtual forum themed ‘Promoting investment and business cooperation between Vietnam’s Vinh Phuc Province and Germany & the European Union (EU) on October 26.

The event, which brought together many speakers who are experts in trade and investment enhancement, aimed to create a great opportunity for businesses to learn and exchange contacts, thereby opening additional prospects for Vietnamese and German enterprises as part of the economic recovery and growth after the COVID-19 pandemic.

At the forum, speakers provide Vietnamese enterprises with multi-dimensional and practical perspectives in developing market entry strategies for the German market. They also discussed practices to employ the advantages brought by the European Union-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).

In his speech, Deputy Chief Representative of AHK Vietnam Bjoern Koslowski briefed the participants on the way to access the German market and promote Vietnamese products in Germany.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of the Vinh Phuc Provincial People's Committee Vu Chi Giang voiced their commitment to creating the most favourable conditions along with preferential mechanisms and policies for investors from Germany and EU in general.

He said that Vinh Phuc hopes to attract further investment in fields which German and European businesses hold strengths such as mechanical engineering and its supporting industries, and high-tech agriculture.
