Hai Phong to reduce infrastructure and sightseeing entrance fees until late 2020

Hai Phong City People’s Council on July 22 passed a resolution on the reduction of fees related to the use of infrastructure, service facilities and public utilities in the city’s seaport border area as well as entrance fees to tourist attractions in Cat Hai district.

Accordingly, the seaport charge rates for temporary import goods that are awaiting await re-export, transshipment goodsand the liquid and bulk cargos stored in bonded warehouses will be reduced by 30% from VND50,000 to VND35,000 per tonne.

Meanwhile, import and export goods at ports will enjoy a reduction of 8%: from VND250,000 to VND230,000 per tonne for a 20ft shipping container and from VND500,000 to VND460,000 per tonne for a 40ft shipping container.

Regarding bulk cargo, the fees are being reduced fromVND16,000 to VND14,000 per tonne.

The city People’s Council also decided to implement a decrease of 50% for entrance fees to several landscapes in Cat Hai district.

In addition, a number of fees and charges were adjusted, including the full cut of business registration fee as well as areduction of 50% for the construction licensing fee and 20% for fees and charges in the field of natural resources and environment.

The above fees and charges will apply from August 1 until December 31.
