Hanoi disburses public investment of over VND40 trillion in 11 months

Hanoi disbursed over VND4.68 trillion (US$201.7 million) worth of public investment allocated from the State budget in November this year, up 2% over the previous month and up 4.9% over the same period in 2019, according to the Hanoi Statistics Office.

In the 11-month period, over VND40 trillion (US$1.72 billion) was disbursed, an increase of 3% over the same period last year, reaching 89% of the set target for 2020.

As of the end of November 2020, Hanoi has completed a number of public investment projects including the section of the Belt Road No.3 over Linh Dam Lake, the overpass at the Nguyen Van Huyen-Hoang Quoc Viet intersection, and the expansion of Tan Linh-Yen Bai road, in addition to other traffic projects in outskirts districts, contributing to promoting the city’s socio-economic development.

The city is accelerating the construction of the intersection between the Belt Road No.3 and Hai Phong expressway as well as the construction of a section of the Belt Road No.2 connecting Mai Dong Bridge with the Nga Tu Vong intersection.

In addition, the city has begun to commence the construction of an underground tunnel at the Le Van Luong-Belt Road No.3 intersection.
