Cooperation between the two sides also aims to protect important targets and political events and create a peaceful and stable environment for the development of Hanoi and the country in general.

Such tasks are part of an agreement signed on August 18 between the Central Military Commission and the Hanoi Party Committee on the implementation of defence tasks aligned with socio-economic development in Hanoi.

At the conference, the two sides also reviewed their cooperation in implementing defence tasks during the 2019-2021 period and the first seven months of 2022.

On the occasion, the Hanoi Party Committee presented 50 billion VND (2.1 million USD) to the Navy High Command towards the building of a multi-purpose cultural house in the island district of Truong Sa.
